8th Grade Graduation
JPII graduated eleven seniors on May 27th.
JPII celebrated sixteen eighth grade students on their May 24th advancement ceremony.

Greek Day
Mrs. Henning's fifth grade class celebrated the novel 'Robin Hood' by dressing in costumes and inviting the sixth grade to a medieval banquet.
Mrs. Dery's 10th Grade Public Speaking class gave their final performances on May 15th, delivering famous speeches.
Mrs. Forbes' third grade class culminated their study of Ancient Greece with costumes and a feast.

JPII students had a good time and completed service hours working with the Special Needs Soccer Association and More Than Coffee.
JPII students celebrated the coming of summer with our Field Day on May 7th.
JPII middle and grade school students under the direction of Mrs. Dery gave a fun and fabulous performance of School House Rock Junior on May 4th and 5th.

JPII celebrated Our Lady on May 1st with a special Mass which included a procession by our First Communicants and Seniors.

Our second graders went on a special retreat to prepare for their First Communion.

Prom
JPII high schoolers had a whale of a time at their 'Under the Sea' themed Prom on April 27th.
Our Lady's Inn
High School Drama
JPII High School and Middle School Students hosted a Baby Shower for Our Lady's Inn, and spent some time working in their garden beds on April 24th.
JPII High School students performed 'A Connecticutt Yankee in King Arthur's Court' on April 14th and 15th under the direction of Mrs. Houser.

JPII welcomed Bishop Rivituso on April 10th.
JPII's Annual Benefit Gala was a huge success. Thank you to all of our generous donors who helped us to meet our financial goal for the year.
To better understand Holy Thursday, Mrs. Dery's 8th grade religion class held a traditional Passover Seder meal in March.

Pre-K Shape Day Party
With special visits, 'novel' celebrations, and labs, Spring is a 'hopping' time at JPII.
Our Pre-K students celebrated all that they have learned about shapes this year with their Shape Day Party on March 6th.
8th Grade Shakespeare Day
Kathy Doerr, from Bard in a Box, part of St. Louis Shakespeare Company, visited with the 8th grade on March 6th. They were able to wear costumes and use props to act out scenes from “As You Like It.”
