MRS. SEANA TETZLAFF
Dean of Grade School
As we come to the end of January each year, we celebrate the joy of anticipating Catholic Schools Week and celebrating the faith, community, and learning that is nourished at our beloved school! JP II is more than simply a place of academics and instruction. As St. John Paul II said, “A Catholic school is a place to communicate Christ and help form Christ in the lives of others, ensuring that Catholic education is not just a means to prepare students for future work but also to nurture their authentic selves.”
We begin each day in prayer, reminding the children that they are known and loved by God and that they are called to a higher purpose. This foundation of faith is interwoven in every lesson, conversation, and achievement. Our dedicated teachers help their students discover not only what they can achieve academically, but who they are called to be for the Glory of God. They are mentors and witnesses of faith in action, inspiring students to pursue and live out their mission in life.
With Catholic Schools Week fresh in our minds, let us give thanks and praise to God for the partnership that exists between our families and school making this mission possible and enjoyable. We celebrate the lasting impact Catholic schools have on our students, families, and the world. With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, we rejoice in Catholic schools—places where faith comes alive, learning flourishes and students are empowered to become disciples and leaders for our future.
God bless,
