A core pillar of the mission at St. John Paul II Preparatory School is to cultivate sharp minds capable of critical thought and deep engagement. This commitment is consistently reflected in the outstanding achievements of our students on rigorous national exams, and we are thrilled to highlight a particularly impressive legacy of success.
Today, we celebrate the JPII students who have earned the CLT Distinguished Scholar Award, one of the highest honors bestowed by the Classic Learning Test. This award recognizes a student’s superior grasp of foundational texts and exceptional analytical and reasoning skills.
Having a student achieve this distinction in any given year is a significant accomplishment. For JPII, it has become a proud tradition.
Our Roll of Distinguished Scholars:
We are honored to list the students who have represented JPII at this elite level:

- 2022: Anna Armesto
- 2021: Gabe Bell
- 2020: Benjamin Nack
- 2020: Robert James Cupples
